Reading to Elmo |
A proud new mama of a precious baby boy, little Keller is the inspiration behind this blog. The rest of my six consists of my husband of 5 years, Dustin, our not-so-nice (and that's putting it nicely) cat, Vanilli, and our 2 lovable shepherd mix rescue dogs, Marley & Maya. These are the stories of our lives.

Almost a Genius
Keller & I were reading an alphabet book at bedtime and I started making up my own words to go with the letters. "E is for Elmo & Emmy & Eggplant." Keller responded with "E is for Elmo. E is for Emmy." And at that time, I thought "OMG! My kid's a genius! He's really getting this!" And then he continued "E is for Aunt Aiye (Ashley). E is for Unc Nick (Uncle Nick). E is for Aunt Aiye Bebe (Aunt Ashley's baby)." Bubble burst...but that's freaking cute!
